I feel bad for the guy's family and particularly his wife. Fact is that I'm not in a position to throw stones at him for what he did. I can yuck it up over him being dumb enough to sneak some strange, while also trying his damndest to remain in the national spotlight.

In the end, why are we surprised? The guy's a politician. Allergic to work. Self-aggrandizing, egomaniac, self-centered plastic-haired professional bull$hitter. So now we discover he's a leg humper and a liar.

At least this bit of news won't lower my opinion of him.

Not necessarily. And, I wasn't calling Edwards a hypocrite because of environmental issues either. I don't know that Edwards is not practicing what he preaches. I believe that Al Gore is becoming more and more in line with what he recommends all the time. He is walking the walk.
