Why are they still making FlexFuel cars when Ethanol is not the cause of so much harm?

Supply and demand is taking over again, rather than rampant speculation.

The original post is so full of wrong...well...I don't know even where to start.

First, did you sleep through Economics class? Did you even take an Economics class? If so...I'd love to know the rationale behind how a very high price on anything helps the overall economy.

Also, why does it matter to you what anyone drives? Does anyone else's choice of vehicle affect your daily life? Your wallet? Your future?

What if I own an SUV and drive it maybe 10k miles and my neighbor owns a Corolla and dirves it 25k miles a year...what makes him less of a polluter than me? How about the stay ay home mom that lives next door to me and has a Suburban but only puts 6-8k miles a year on the thing? Is she killing the planet? How? Would her ditching this vehicle (which she told me is paid for) and replacing it with a new Pruis solve any problem? Somebody else will still be driving that Suburban...right?

Do you SEE the silliness in all of this?

Do you SEE how illogical your agruement is?

The bottom line is that its beyond silly to hate a certain type of vehicle or assume that all SUVs are causing pollution when the fact is tht you do not know everyone's personal driving habits. Its equally as silly to wish for higher prices on a commodity in order to force a behavior that YOU personally do not like upon the public.

The MORE people with this bizarre worldview post this type of nonsense and obvious class warfare...the MORE silly it appears to clear thinking people.

at this point i don't think its worth responding to this troll. I doubt he'll (she'll?)be back, and if (s)he does come back i doubt it will be to add anything of value.
