OBAMA Lures Massive German Crowd With Rock Bands, Brats & Beer!

CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN---

The choreographed Obamapalooza Tour 2008 continues in Berlin today complete with with rock bands, beer and brats.
Oh... And, German campaign flyers.

But remember- It's not a political rally.
The German newspaper Berliner Morganpost reported on the rally today (translated):
The speech will begin clock to 19 and up about 20 clock time. Admission to the event area is from 16 clock. At 16 clock begins the inlet to Obama spectacle on the streets of the 17th June. For the spectators, the further back have been enlarged picture screens.
To the waiting time of up to the speech of the presidential candidates to shorten a second stage built on the musical framework programme to take place. The German Reggeasänger Patrice and the German pop band Reamonn 17.30 from occur there. Before and during the breaks, the British disc jockey Mantu.
Snack and drink stalls are also up - the area is converted Fabnmeile-Obama.
Hat Tip Dan

The Afghanistan War protesters were not allowed to protest the event.

Obama rocks Berlin!
HERE's a video of a Raemonn rock concert to give you an idea of what kind of crowd you might expect today.

The Moshpit of America-haters await Obama.
IBD reported:
Obama may demand on the campaign trail that no one dare question his patriotism, but for Germans, disliking the U.S. is nothing to hide. Yet this is the place Obama's team thought would be best to hold a rally to boost his campaign.
Pew's 2008 survey found that 34% of Germans don't like Americans at all or in part, and 61% regard the U.S. as headed for something like history's ash heap, to be supplanted by China.
That is relevant to why Germans are cheering for Obama. He has consistently expounded a worldview that espouses the moral equivalency of nations, rather than importance of U.S. leadership. He's a big fan of letting the U.N. make America's foreign policy decisions, consistent with shrinking U.S. influence in the world...
Heck, it was a battle just to get him, a candidate for the highest office in the land, to pin an American flag to his lapel. No wonder they cheer Obama in Germany.
Don't expect to see this reported by the mainstream media.

More... The US Embassy told its staff to stay away from the "partisan political activity" today.

Do you mean a MONTAGE... with fades....so it looked like a long time had passed.... like Rocky......"think we need a MONTAGE"....."YES we need a MONTAGE".....

Kinda like the stupid puppet movie.... kinda like the whole Barak campaign.

That concert video sucked. Looked like the group the local VFW hired for the High School Musical Graduation party. SUCK!!!!!

I'd show up just for the free beer. Free beer in Germany is like free crack cocaine in the projects.

Another poll to be disputed!!
But the 38 percent ... IMO, that's something to be concerned about as blind people will base their decision on the name the hear in a more positive light a day or two before the election.

Maybe the status quo things would stop if a voter were required to pass a knowledge exam!!

Obama trip leaves confidence little changed: poll

Tue Jul 29, 2008 1:10pm BST
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama's highly publicized foreign trip does not appear to have increased confidence in his ability to be president and may have helped energize supporters of Republican John McCain, according to a poll published on Tuesday.

A USA Today/Gallup poll of 1,007 adults, conducted Friday through Sunday, showed a surge in likely Republican voters compared to a month ago and a country evenly divided about whether to withdraw U.S. forces from Iraq under a timetable.

The data published in USA Today's Tuesday editions showed Obama leading McCain 47 percent to 44 percent among registered voters, down from a 6-percentage point lead last month. Meanwhile, McCain led 49 percent to 45 percent among likely voters, reversing a 5-point Obama lead in group.

The margin of error was 4 percentage points for both registered and likely voters.

USA Today said majorities of voters told pollsters that Obama would do a better job than McCain in dealing with foreign leaders and handling relations with other countries.

But 41 percent said they did not think he could handle the job of commander-in-chief -- about the same as the 40 percent who said the same thing last month, before Obama's 10-day trip to Europe and the Middle East that ended over the weekend.

Obama's trip received good reviews from 35 percent in the poll, while about one-quarter viewed it negatively and 38 percent said they did not know enough to express an opinion.

Six in 10 Republicans said news media coverage of Obama's trip was "unfairly positive."
