Is having the American flag painted prominently on a CAMPAIGN JET necessary?

You might have a point if he did this to Air Force One but now .... just more of the Obama Slama Two Step.
It's just another sign of the arrogance of the man KEV.

I fully expect anyone campaigning for President to fly the Flag on their plane, house, car etc. The fact that he regards his logo as more important than the Flag for his jet just throws more fuel on the fire IMO.

Reaching a little with the bolded, aren't you?

Am I reaching? Is it possible? What say you if I'm right?

If I'm wrong ... it's just a campaign jet not AF-1. I did a little research .... the F-15's that used to fly out of Portland Oregon with our ANG had this on their tails ...

Problem with that? I don't.

A little more research .... Delta, Southwest, Continental, United ... what do they have in common? That's right, their own logo on each side of the tail.

Here's a pic of Obama's jet with not just one but TWO flags. Is that enough or do they have to be on both sides of the jet to count?

Bet Richard Branson's own jet doesn't have the English flag on it. I wonder if Bill Gates private jet does?

How could I have missed the obvious sign of oppression: no flag on the tail markings of a campaign jet! Yep, that's oppression plain as day.

Well I thought we were playing a game based off the first two replies...

Secondly you're not very good at playing.

Me, I love America, I fought for America, I had many friends who died fighting for America. I had a few close relatives who died fighting for America.

I admit that when I hear the Star Spangled Banner I get a bit choked up and when I see an American Athlete presented with a gold medal at the Olympics and they play our national anthem for that, I more often than not feel a tear (or tears) trickle down my cheek in pride.

Yet I've never worn a flag pin. What does that mean? Anything?

To me it means that I'm not a jewelry guy. I loved my wife as much as any man ever loved his wife. I didn't wear a wedding band. Yet I see people I KNOW are miserable in their marriages and yet they always wear their wedding bands. So what does that prove?

For all I know, maybe Obama hates America. Wants to destroy our country, convert us all into Islamic jihadists, maybe just put all white Christians into death camps. - Whatever this "gun grabbing, Anti-Christ, America hater" really is about, I kind of think that he's not going to ruin his big surprise with a slip-up like not wearing a flag pin.

Maybe his not wearing a flag pin or painting a flag on the tail of his campaign plane will be a blessing for us all.... Maybe he's an evil genius who will find his ultimate undoing because of his uncontrollably compulsive aversion to our flag.

Peace,
D.
Well I can agree with most your logic. I served for 20 Years in the Navy, as did my wife, her dad and a few other family members.

It is his leased jet and he can do what he wants with it. It is his shirt lapel so again the same.

However, given the picture of him, not putting his hand over his heart during the National anthem......Remember that picture. Followed by the lapel pin, followed by the removal of the flag from both sides of the tail of the jet...Sure makes me wonder about his patriotism.

For some reason, I would think the man or woman who wants to lead the greatest country in the world would at least Repect it's flag during the national anthem. I would think that same person going on a World press tour to promote America and the change he has planned for it would want to show off the American Flag....
