Probably about average for a Senator behind closed doors back in the day. For a Presidential Candidate , today, I would agree with you.

Yup, these days it is some big wampum. It was always very nice though. A great place to grow up back then.

Back inthe 60s to early 80s it was pretty much middle class 3/2 Ranch places, with some exceptions of course. Today an old 3/2 goes for 700K to knock it down and put up a 1.5M McMansion after paying Aanother 100K to create a hole to build it on.

Now some of these properties are on their third or fourth go around with these "builders" getting a government check and screwing the pooch and it's all started by the messiah Obama himself. And you truly no nothing about Chicago politics if you think Michy would leave to go politicking for anything other than personal gain.

XD, Park Ridge is a pretty nice area... some big yen living there...

How is Rezko's corruption all Obama's fault? I would say you're making this a bigger deal than it is. Yes, Chicago politics has a reputation for cronyism. Yes, Rezko is corrupt, but he and Obama are not connected at the hip. And, all politicians are corrupt in some way. They all exchange favors for money, power, influence. It's the reason this system is so screwed up.

And, I gave a good reason why many people leave large law firms. Yes, I'm sure she wanted to make money. Is there a problem with that?

So you think it's funny to insult young girls? Do you engage in that behavior too?

There is when the reason she was making so much, suddenly, was that ole Barry was a State Senator.

She also has cried "poor" and about how she understands the middle/lower class struggle while making a 300K salary herself, plus the State Senator's salary.

Why shouldn't she be forced to "Give up a piece of her pie so that others can have more" as she advocates for the rest of us with an obscene income like that?

Yes, and no less unseemly than one who shows up for work part time, votes "present," contributes little, and thinks they deserve to be president of the United States.

Talk about high school behavior!

What you fail to see is they both came in to power together, hand in hand. One scratching the others back, so to speak. Also they are connected at the hip, and everywhere else for that matter. Rezko donated lots of cash to Bama. For a long time. They are more than aquatences, they are friends. Friends who set things up to rob the taxpayer in the name of doing good things for the community. Now Rezko is in Federal prison with every glimmer of hope that when/if the messiah becomes el Presidente, that he will be pardoned.
And how the HEck can you say she left a large law firm to make money in a public service? It's usually the other way around, Etta. You don't make big yen working for the Democratic party, you make it working at large private firms...

I don't insult young girls. I do laugh at good jokes though. And if you haven't heard any disparaging remarks about Chelsea or Janet Sterno, then you've been hiding under a rock out there in LaLa land.
