This is old news to folks who have 'been & seen'- and understand its proximity to former missle facilities. Those folks couldn't talk about it, publicly at least, for obvious reasons also stated in the article.

Tuwaitha is the facility that was bombed by Israel in 1981 and again by the U.S. during the 1991 Gulf War. It was a centerpiece of Hussein's nuclear weapons effort, and was looted shortly after the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.

OK, so we new that. Bush didn't sat that was what he was after. What Bush led us to believe was that Saddam was actively seeking more Uranium from Niger, because he had a active nuclear weapons program.

We sold him chemical weapons, we knew he had uranium and a nuclear facility. We did not invade Iraq because of that. We invaded Iraq because we were told despite the U.N. sanctions, Saddam had active chemical and nuclear programs and the U.S. was directly threatened by that. Those claims have still not been proved.

Yellowcake is a Uranium precursor. You make uranium fuel from yellowcake.

Then once you have used the uranium fuel in a reactor and the hot isotopes have been processed out you are left with depleted uranium.

Or is is what is left after uranium is enriched for use in reactors.
