Looks like time for Knife Control in the UK

BBC NEWS | UK | UK Politics | Jail knife carriers, says Cameron

A British politician is calling for tougher sentencing on people who carry knives in the UK.

Some disturbing quotes:

From Mr David Cameron (an election candidate? Not sure what he is...),
Quote:
"We have to send a clear message that carrying a knife on our streets is completely inexcusable and unacceptable in a civilized society"
But 'Common Sense' knife control is ok...
Quote:
He urged police to exercise "common sense" by not prosecuting people carrying penknives for angling, or for bringing home kitchen or garden equipment from the shops.
Ugh....not that this is any groundbreaking news, but this level of government control is just disturbing and disgusting.

But gun control works!

Further proof that anyone who wants to do harm to someone else will find any means necessary, be it a gun, knife, club etc. The damn politicians cant seem to grasp this concept for some reason.
