Yes, you did, and I agreed with you. This country would IMO economically collapse if the oil stopped flowing. I can't blame anyone who might be in a position to influence such things from having nightmares about the possibility that the flow of oil might stop. I even said "I can't blame him for worrying".
But you now seem upset over me asking why you did a cut and paste over an issue I am already in agreement with.

I would suggest one read John Perkins' book, "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man." My son had me read it and it is very interesting. It explains how big business, the banks and the govt. went into numerous 3rd world countries with the intent of "improving" those same countries, but in fact really making those listed entities richer and more powerful.
At the same time, it shows how those countries became beholden to the same entities due to the massive debt they were in as a result of the loans they took to improve their infrastructure. This was done at the behest of those same 3 groups. |
