We celebrate not only the birth, but a dream of what this country could be. We have gotten away from our Founders ideal, and the day should remind us of that.

IMO, it has nothing to do with administrative policy. So please do me a favor ... Write the author of this article and voice your admiration for what he wrote, but tell him I said F OFF. His political agenda is better suited to a different historical event and a different nation.

the fourth is not about political views, although the left wants to make it that way in an effort to pile on guilt and misery. i think the only miserable people on the 4th of July are liberals - by their own choices. they never have anything to be happy about.
