The 4th. is a celebration of our nation's birth, not of our government's policies.

It's quite simple, really...
If you vote for Obama, you are a fu*king idiot.
If you vote for McCain, you are a fu*king idiot.
If your vote is for the lessor of two evils, then you can be comforted knowing that you're less of a fu*king idiot than the other guy!

Because Fritz says so!

I don't know what a lib is. Is that just some label that means anyone that does not agree with you? I'm sure many Americans against the war feel the same. I am not one of them.

I'll let you in on a little secret... There are many Americans that do not believe as you do. I know it's a shocker. It is my right as an American to speak out against my government and it's actions. It's my right to disagree with you. It is my right to shape my country in a way I think it should be. I defended that right and so has much blood shed.

I don't agree with the article. I think he is wrong on several counts. The constitution , what we celebrate on the 4th, gives him the right to say what he wants.

Now why in the world should someone have to leave the country for excersizing his GOD given right?

"You people bask in the glory of the freedom I provide and then question the manner in which I provide it"

I wonder if the author of that article thinks we didn't hold and torture prisoners in The Revolutionary War? Call me cold hearted, but if we know someone is in a position to know things that can keep us safe I say extract that information by any means necessary. Screw their personal comfort; they want to kill Americans and they don't give a rat's ass about the pain and suffering they may cause. Why should we? POW's fighting a war against our military are one thing, killing civilians out of personal pleasure are entirely another and the kinds of people that do that forfeit their rights.

They can say all anything they want, but i am sick of the constant bashing of this country. Everything to them is politics and how bad they can make us, as a country look.

so you think America is this bad, evil country?

Another excellent, one-line summary.

I already said I disagree with the article. I believe this is the greatest nation the Earth has ever seen. I would like to jettison most of D.C. into space.

I agree with alot of the things in the article. That dosent mean we should not celebrate the birth of the greatest nation on earth.

We have lost our way though, if you look at the England we fought against and our current Government you will probbly find more similarities than differences.

For the most part we are a nation of sheep. We want the gov. to take care of us birth to grave. And the worst thing about this is we have to sacrifice liberties small and large for this.

Some believe its worth it, I for one do not!
