Personal Freedoms and the Internet

"The most basic principle to being a free American is the notion that we as individuals are responsible for our own lives and decisions. We do not have the right to rob our neighbors to make up for our mistakes, neither does our neighbor have any right to tell us how to live, so long as we aren’t infringing on their rights. Freedom to make bad decisions is inherent in the freedom to make good ones. If we are only free to make good decisions, we are not really free."

You know, as a gun board, Im really surprised we dont hear more about net neutrality here. For instance, lets suppose that .gov can now regulate ISP's. Obama passes his new AWB, or similar gun control. However, included in the bill is a caveat that sites like gunbroker.com, or any other site that allows the sale/trade of firearms is shut down. Goodbye XDtalkers, nice knowing ya...

This is a bit extreme, but definitely not out of the realm of being possible.

will you never learn? he's not in the election anymore, so his points about freedom and stuff are just no longer relevant. at least that's what i hear.
