Yes, I remember the lines, and the arguing. I also remember the fighting and people getting up to go to work ... Only to find their gas tanks had been drained in the night.
Are you attempting to discredit my opinion due to age or knowledge ... Or are you just curious ??

As for the cut and paste ... Explain how this idea is more right than any other idea.
Be bold! ... Use your own words. I've never heard of the person who wrote the article, so their words have much less meaning to me than they might you.

So tell me, Etta ... What is so right about whatever this person has written.

I'm well aware of the meaning of each word and would have no trouble believing the intent of your usage. All I asked for was clarification .... But apparently you have some form of credibility complex. There was no need to, once again, do the cut and paste just to show your understanding of the english language.

I agree with the guy who wrote the article.

I'm no longer going to defend my practice of posting articles here. You do all the time, as do others. Why is it different when I do? You just posted a bunch of material that you didn't write about affirmative action. Why didn't you put that into your own words?

Go back and read it before you make accusations. I prefaced the whole thing by stating it was reference material for a paper I had written in the past. It was posted to enlighten others to alternative possibilities. None of it was used to back up my opinion on the subject.

In fact I never stated an opinion beyond the expectation that even if Obama wins the election ... things won't really change.

So you were saying ... ?
