Obortion is no biggie one way or the other to me. I think it is wrong, but I would never vote baised on that issue.

There's no question in my mind that the United States spends too much on the military - whatever they're spending it on!!

place holder for when i have nothing better to do...

for the record, the issue related to abortion is not whether it is right or wrong, it is whether or not you have the choice to decide, for you and yours, if it is right or wrong.

In reality, no one is, except for someone who has already done it.

What I'm thinking of, though, is some hands-on experience, like running a State as a governor, or running a large, successful business, or many years serving as a Federal legislator, with many legislative accomplishments. Obama has nothing at all in his resume that even remotely shows any skills needed to be president, other that being able to give great speeches from a teleprompter.

I'll just sit on the sidelines out of respect for KEV.

He asked for a non-critical approach, so I'm gonna wait until something valid is posted.

I really want to learn why Obama is the better choice, and thus far I have not heard anyting that equates to better than "Hope" and "Change" ... So I'll wait a little longer, because to me it seems that a WHY I like something carries more weight than I like something.

The wife said "He'll end the war" (I think she doesn't like him, but thinks this may be a good reason to vote for him)

I'm not sure he will, or how, but a lot of supporters say that he will.

The advantage of a governorship is the actual running of a multi-dimensional government. A legislator does nothing but vote, and takes none of the responsibility for his actions.
They are next to useless, IMO, and make lousy stewards of this nation.

Tell me why I should vote for Obama ??
Because if he gets elected then we get his charming wife as First Lady. That would be so fabulous. And I don't make that much money so under the new socialist agenda, I'll be getting 1/4 of amishclark's paycheck syphened into my bank account on a bi-monthly interval since he will be making more money then me. I can't wait.

Ok, i think this thread is the perfect opportunity to let out my dirty little secret.

For the last few weeks, i've been blogging on Barack Obama's website, seeing just what topics pushed what buttons, and just how far i could push things. I've garnered a rapport with some of them, and am now using this blog to get an view of the "average" B.O. supporter. I've blogged this question. I'll see if anyone responds...
