The same criticism was made of JFK, Mike. Who truly is qualified these days?

no...you're clearly on the offensive though. i stated my reasons for preffering barry (what he went by in college...i think that in itself is classic!) over mclame, as per the op's request. keep up the good work, though! it's hard to make sarcasm expressive over the intrawebz...

My personal opinion was the Bill Richardson had the best credentials of any of the candidates on either side.

Obama is the lesser of two evils?
Really? Did you sleep through Economics 101? Did you even TAKE Economics 101? I don't see how anyone with enough brain mass to walk and chew bubblegum at the same time, could vote for Obama and think that his economic and energy plans make any sense whatsoever. I see the left's plans for dumbing down the education system in the USA has had its chickens come home to roost. We now have a generation of uneducated, ill-informed young people that have no clue as to what kind of bad decisions they are all going to make by electing this guy. Proof positive that the socialists need a stupid, slave class to enact their policies. Go ahead...vote for "change" because the "change" Obama is bringing will mean 10 bucks a gallon gas (or higher...really) and no growth of businesses or entrepreneuralship in this country at all. If you REALLY think this is best for America...go vote for this clown. I'll gladly stencil a hammer and sickle on your forehead before you enter the voting booth, commerade! Change...we want change....well...you'll most certainly get it! LOL - brickboy240

Enough with the insults, fellas. Nobody has to agree with anothers choice, but show some civility. At least half of this country will vote for him, and the Bush regime will be a big part of the reason.

brickboy...i can appreciate your stance. however, your calling my education into question is insulting. i am half way through the MBA program of a top 10 (or top 5, depending on who is doing the ranking) school. i have a personal relationship with one of the leading thinkers on energy policy in the world. as far as gas prices, i hope it gets to 7+ a gallon. maybe that will slow consumption. wrt economic growth, i have perhaps a different view from you...i'm of the "deep economy" school of thought. shear economic gain is not so important to me as gains in quality of life, environment, etc. i will vote accordingly. thank you.

Conversely, if you're not a fan of Jesus, voting for Obama may, very well, make Christ say "Screw these people. I don't wanna be anywhere near them."
I'm writing-in Ron Paul -- which, the Neocons tell me, is the same as voting for Obama. (Typical neocon logic: "If you're not sucking my wang, you obviously hate America.") So I can give you a million reasons why to vote for Ron Paul -- which will get Obama elected.
