Not a surprise. The questions, as with most internet "What am I" surveys, were imprecise and failed to provide me with my preferred answer, but I am Protestant, so I guess that's something.

I read the questions and answered none. No wonder people kill in the name of religion.

Yeah, like I said (or should've) these 'tests' are far from being regarded as completely accurate and as a result of limiting your selection of answers it loses more accuracy.

The truth is that there are probably hundreds (if not thousands) of questions that paint the picture of what a person truly believes (especially regarding the supernatural, afterlife, and what is worthy of praise).

I will add though that this test excels in trying to tell people what they actually believe and not what they think they believe.
i.e. I could be a faithfully attending member of a Catholic Church, Mormon Temple, Non-demominational church, Buddist temple, ect. but that might not accurately describe my true beliefs.

LOL...yeah Frank....

It must be great being you; always being able to prove yourself correct after the fact. No matter what the facts turn out to be.

You give "Monday Morning Quarterbacks" a new standard to strive for.

Here's something for you to consider (and then to disregard)....I may write long boring posts, but at least I only write about topics I know something about. (Whether you agree or not is irrelevant).

I said I have no idea what "Secular Humanism" means. Why is that not enough?

Yeah, I could have "researched" it like some people so often feel compelled to, but I just don't care. In fact I intentionally answered every question the same way no matter how I really felt just to see what the result would be, so the whole thing was meaningless to me.

Peace,
D.

Who said it wasn't

Here's a link to help....it was actually included with your results but you might have missed it...
SECULAR HUMANISM description for SELECTSMART.com's SPIRITUAL BELIEF SYSTEMS SELECTOR - a comparative WORLD RELIGIONS quiz. Explore your spiritual path.

I'm still thrilled that our top result was the same, whether you are or not!

Peace,

Frank

Glad you are thrilled Frank. But as I said, I didn't answer the questions according to how I truly felt, I made an effort to answer them along the lines of a very narrow path. (Does this mean that a "secular humanist" is narrow-minded?) - LOL

As for the definition....yes, I saw it. And no, I was not interested enough to read it.

I can't care about everything. Guess I am not the renaissance man you are....a student of everything and an expert in nothing.

I especially can't care about on-line quizzes that purport to label people according to their answers to a few poorly worded questions with a very limited choice of overly simplistic answers.

Peace,
D.

Oh come on now, Delija. If you really have that bad an attitude about this whole thing, why bother posting in this thread?
