Freaking bizzaro world if you ask me. I disliked mcAmnesty years ago and I'm not about to start liking him now.

Unless he does a 180 on his policies and picks a true conservative for VP he won't get my vote... chances of old stubborn sides seeing the light? 1 in a million so it really doesn't matter to me who he picks for veep.

Looks like it could be a mcAmnesty/lieberman ticket. How funny will it be for all the so called conservatives to have to vote republican with those two on the ticket, lol. Heck some of that brain washing the GOP's done might wear off and we'll have a independent thinking republican electorate for a change. Wouldn't it be cool?

Think they might be serving Metamucil at their inaugural ball?

So what does McCain do well? He panders to the more moderate conservatives and all the moderate crowd. So what does he need? The evangelicals and the serious conservatives. So the obvious choice is Mike Huckabee. Maybe we could even give this fair tax thing a serious look over with a VP interested.

Obama...well hell who cares. Lieberman would be a smart pick because it would pick up the moderates and the Jews and the older folks (who generally see Obama's garbage). But Lieberman won't ever get it because he is more or less frowned on by the libs.

and this whole amnesty garbage is just that, GARBAGE. Its not amnesty, but at the same time I am not crazy about it. The only other thing I have to say is the last president to allow amnesty became an ICON amongst conservatives...bonus points to those who know who it is

Obama should probably pick Caroline Kennedy Townsend. She's probably smarter than Obama, and nobody would dare attack her. She'd immediately assure Obama of all the splittailvoters who supported Hitlery. No experience? Didn't matter when they nominated Klinton and Obama, did it?

Personally, since I live down here and am close to LA, I'd like to see Jhindal stay as governor and do more great things for LA. Keep an eye on this guy, because he is definately destined for bigger things - he is very sharp and has the right mindset.

Bobby Jindal () is certainly more experienced than Barack Obama though

I heard him on one of the talking heads shows on Sunday; I got the impression he felt the same way that you do, that his responsibility right now is LA and I didn't get the impression he would entertain a VP run right now.

Riiiiiiiight, and 20 million "immigrants" becoming American citizens virtually overnight is just a figment of our imagination too.

I'm also curious to see if there is anyone that McCain could pick that would make people more likely to vote for him.

There are at least three things about McCain:

1) He's not Obama Hussein...
2) He's not married to Michelle
3) He's always been proud of and stood up for this country.

obviously, three more things are:

1) He's not Obama
2) He's not Obama
3) He's not Obama

Need I continue?
The more I think of these things, the better McCain gets.
