Whether the money is borrowed or not (and in historical terms, money is cheap now - to borrow). Simply in gross dollars - yes - everything costs more now, but in inflation adjusted terms - the true way to measure costs over time - it's cheaper.

Most of the "iraq war is expensive" reports are based on the Bllmes Stiglitz (BS) work.... here's a link to the CBO (controlled by Dhims) which dismisses this "analysis" as pretty damn bogus:

They discuss how BS intentionally misreported allocations or double counted expenses in:
Increases in the Regular Defense Budget
Costs to Replace Equipment
Costs for Recruiting and Retention Incentives
Costs to Treat Brain Injuries

I've seen some good academic work on this area and tried to do a quick google, but the BS work domintates the media coverage - they love a good lie. I'll try to find it later, have a meeting I must go to shortly and preprare for.

If you disagree with judge, why not challenge the facts he posted with some information of your own?

Why do you always dismiss anything that does not conform with your own internal bias and label it as a lie fostered by the opposition?

You would have a lot more credibility, IMO, if you cited sources and presented facts to back up your opinions.

Hell, my brother is a 9/11 truther of the worst kind...yet he tries to use facts and information to back up his claims. You rarely even attempt that. You automatically label anything that you disagree with as "written by a neocon" so it must be completely false.
