Frank didn't remind anyone, it was Deja's funny post that did.

In addition, every post you make reminds people of you and what your word means - both in plagiarizing and in your statement you were leaving.

Welome back btw.

Wow - the personal attacks are flowing.

And he didn't presume, you did defend her by admitting she had apologized and it should be accepted. An apology is only given for wrong behavior - which by defending her apology, you admit.

Judge.....you OK?

Sounds like maybe you should get back in the sack and get up again but from the other side of the bed.

Something's gotta help. I know you can be cranky on occasion (who can't be?), but this sounds a bit extreme..

...breath deep. Good air in, bad air out. Think pleasant thoughts. Waves at the beach, crackling fire on Christmas eve (in a safe fireplace....good screen, no CO danger, good batteries in the smoke detectors, etc.).

I added a You Tube clip from "High Anxiety" to my previous post. Good for a laugh. Maybe that will help improve your mood this morning.

Whatever.....hope you feel better soon. (I'd really try the Mel Brooks clip).

BTW....the Boston Globe is on a level with the National Enquirer? LOL..

That sounds more like Tom than you.

Funny, but c'mon......

Peace,
D,

No opinion meant to be implied here......just an observation that seems apropos to the whole thing.

I'm fine - you ok??? You sound kinda rambling this am...

As far as the Globe, you need to familiarize yourself with it's standards more. It's worse than the NYT's has become in terms of journalistic integrity.

It's had several journalists changed with Plagarizism including Pat Smitha and Mike Barnicle among others, which it has refused to fire or dismiss, and it's been outed for fabricating many stories including printing faked pictures of US soldiers raping iraqi women with repeated follow ups - until the forgery was discovered, and a fake article on the seal hunt - which didn't take place, and false stories on the starving in Gaza - among others.

They done a number of hack jobs on the war and President Bush....

You may consider that an honorable paper... Most don't.

It's nice to know that Frank has someone to defend him. Makes me all warm and fuzzy.
Nice spin, by the way.
It is what it is!

It's quite simple, really...
If you vote for Obama, you are a fu*king idiot.
If you vote for McCain, you are a fu*king idiot.
If your vote is for the lessor of two evils, then you can be comforted knowing that you're less of a fu*king idiot than the other guy!

Thanks for the laughs.

No, they’re just going to tax “businesses”! So unless you buy something from a “business”, like groceries or clothes or gasoline … or unless you get a paycheck from a big or a small “business”, don’t worry … it’s not going to affect you.

One thing downplayed in the cost of war is the money that will eventually have to be spend to replace all the equipment being worn down currently whether it be tanks, HumVs or transport aircraft. This article from 2006 covers some of this:
Congressional analysis puts cost of Iraq war at $2 billion a week - The Boston Globe

The other thing misrepresented by the figures you are citing is the way in which social security works, it currently runs a surplus and that money is used to buy bonds to pay down the national debt, so when the treasury pays back that money including interest to the social security fund they count that as a "cost" of social security, way bumping up the actual cost. You should read this article on social security:
Congressional analysis puts cost of Iraq war at $2 billion a week - The Boston Globe

Where did I post any statistics that are biased towards the gop or from the gop, as you claim?

Where did I try to make the war seem cheaper than it is? Where did I "understate" or "shift" the costs of the war?
Where I did post any "misrepresenting figures"

I posted a video of the comptroller general, who is disliked by democrats and republicans. Virtually all politicians have ignored him, so he is now taking his concerns to the people. Accompanying him are folks from the conservative heritage foundation AND from the more liberal brookings institute, as well as bipartisan organizations who are all concerned that our runaway spending will bankrupt the nation.

Before we get any further, please address your blatantly false claims. It is pointless to talk with someone who is going to respond to my posts, referencing things that I have supposedly posted or said, which I clearly did not.

It's almost like you picked the wrong pre-programmed response for the issue at hand. It's like you were writing back as if I had somehow posted figured that understated the costs of the war.

WTF, dude. Please read before you quote and respond to a post.

Thanks,

Frank

So, do you agree or disagree with Etta's plagiarism?

Thanks in advance,
