First Mark Steyn's book America Alone is threatened to be banned because of blatantly Islamaphobic opinions, and he was summoned to appear before judicial magistrates because of his controversial belief opined in the book that western nations are succumbing to an "Islamic Imperialist Threat".

Is this "political correctness" (a term from Trotsky by the way) the natural predecessor to tyranny?

They are taking their cues from France.

Bridget Bardot was just sentenced and fined $23,000 for speaking out against the Islamic immigration invasion in France.

I love how some people are terrified of "theocracies" from those darn biblebelters but are perfectly complicit in state endorsement of the Islamic faith.

Great thread as usual, Krackels. Sad this hasn't gathered more attention.

I guess free speech is ok as long as it doesn't offend the "authorities" or hurt someone's feelings. If it does, a punishment is in order!

This is pretty scary. I hope this kind of thinking doesn't continue to spread.
