Tim Russert is dead
I would have put this in general, but since he was a political analyst, I thought it was fitting here.

It is hard to imagine NBC News without him. "Meet the Press" was the gold standard of impartial political interviews. It seems impossible for anyone to do it the way he did....David Duke? Al Sharpton? From one extreme to the other, all got treated exactly the same. He asked questions, gave those of whom he asked the opportunity to answer and never argued - just got answers and let them stand as they would to the public. He strove only to create a record of who said and felt what when and why. He;ll be missed by the world, he'll be missed by America and Buffalo, NY may never have a stronger and more effective ambassador. He was a person who came out of a political background and into journalism with a degree of professionalism that seems almost impossible to fathom. RIP Peace, D.

He could upset both the Democrats and the Republicans with his style. That told me a lot about the man's integrity.
RIP, Tim!

Shocking. But...I didn't think he looked well when I saw him on election night coverage for the June primaries. His face was bright red.

I didn't watch him, much. But his show was one of the better ones.
RIP, Tim.

No, they’re just going to tax “businesses”!
