Supreme Court ruling gives Terror Suspects Constitutional Rights
I don't even know what to say anymore. Why the hell do we have the NSA or any other security and intelligence agencies if we're going to just make things as easy as possible for terrorists to go about their business? Why the hell are we paying tax dollars for the Homeland Security if we can't hold those who are suspected of terrorism? Why the hell are we fighting a war where we can't hold enemy combatants? What the hell is wrong with the leftists in this country who want to do just about anything possible to ensure American casualties and a lost war? Name one thing the leftists in this country have done, one thing, one tiny little thing at all, to support our troops and ensure victory. Name one thing they've done that hasn't been with the sole intent and purpose of undermining their power and morale. From the flat out lies from Nancy Pelosi on her knowledge of waterboarding to her outcry against them.
I'm so sick of this crap. This is unbelievable. Who the hell stands up and fights for the rights of the enemy? We gave rights away today, to terrorists, that we wouldn't give to Nazis, rights we would give to the Japanese. Anyone remember that more people died on 9/11 than at Pearl Harbor? WTF is wrong with people? What happened to this country after WWII that being a democrat and an enemy of your own country became synonymous? Read it for yourself. I wrote a bit about it on my blog, the but more I think about it, the more pissed I get. |

Sooo... Non-U.S. Citizens enjoy equal protection under the U.S. Constitution? In addition to illegal aliens coming across the border and stealing services paid for by U.S. tax payers as well as enjoying Constitutional protection, now the terrorists get it too?
Just want to make sure I have it straight.

Give it 6 years if the next president doesn't get it done I can see a major revolt in the works. Our elected officals are catering to the few special interest groups not the majority.

Better yet, after the Supreme Court votes themselves benevolent dictators and Supreme Council to the World Trade Organization, we can all sit back on our collective arses and suck the poverty tit of opression... That weird guy that wrote, "Dude, Where's My Country?", had a good question, just a skewed direction. I disagree with everything that guy stands for, but he did have a valid question.

Did you think of mailing a copy of the article to your local newspaper? I know the local paper just cuts/pastes articles from Reuters and AP anyway. I have noticed the only "reporting" that is getting done is the change of headline. Great find. Hope the dopes drown in a sea of public outcry, oh wait, that article was printed in English. No one in California can read English. Nothing will change. LOL

Its really stuff like this that makes me want to fully support Texas secession. I know it borders on nutty and impratical, but some of the crap they are pulling in DC these days bothers and frankly scares me.

I don't think giving foreigners habeas corpus and other rights of US citizens makes the country any less safer. If they are terrorists then they will be found guilty of their crimes and either receive the death penalty or rot the rest of their lives away in prison. Yet some people were held in gitmo and other prisons, tortured then released because it was discovered that they had no connection with al-qaeda or terrorism. I think that all humans have god-given rights that should be respected, if those people are guilty of crimes; try them and punish them. That is the system our founding fathers put in place and I think it works well enough. |
