The more I think about it, the more I think it might actually help us in the long run.

It might take 4 years of obama to usher in some true conservatives.

The deciding factor here is how much damage would a 2nd carter do? Would he damage things beyond repair or only make mistakes that could be easily fixed by someone else? If the strong possibility exists that he could really f things up beyond "hope" of repair, then I think it would be bad. If he made some mistakes and screwed some stuff up just enough to piss off most people, then that would be good because he would be thrown out.

You've got to weigh the possibility of short-term damage vs. long term gain.

It's a tough question to think about. Sometimes I think that 4 years of Obama would be awesome for the country in the long term...and then I think about some of the stuff he says and I cringe. I even think about voting for McCain!
