It is unfortunate that our president will be this guy or this guy, instead of this guy, this guy, this guy, or this guy. The more I hear and read about Bob Barr, the more I like him. But he doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell to win. Why? Because no matter what he does he will not be put in the media spotlight unless he were to do something absolutely outrageous that the media could spin in a negative way. He may actually be the most qualified and best candidate for the job, but the majority of American voters will never know.
Democrats will vote for anything with a (D) after its name. none of their candidates ever run on substance, so why would 2008 be any different.

I would agree somewhat with that. But I have heard from some older, more traditional democrats that don't like where the party is going, as many conservatives don't like where the republican party is going. I think in many of the cases of those democrats that McCain is much more likable to them because he is more of a traditional democrat than a liberal like many of today's dem party. So it will be interesting.

Good post and you are quite correct about Bob Barr. Before I started this poll this morning, I went to foxnews.com to make sure I wasn't missing any "no name" candidates. I turns out I had all of my bases overed, but Fox didn't seem to... Bob Barr wasn't even on the list of "candidates".

Let's get out the vote! Let's make our voices heard!
We've been given the right to choose between a douche and a turd.
It's democracy in action! Put your freedom to the test.
A big fat turd or a stupid douche. Which do you like best?

KEVWYO said he'd probably be voting for Obama. His comments are in a thread somewhere...
