If Obama were elected he'd be the most liberal President of the United States ever elected. This is the man that has said (and has the voting record to prove it) that our military should be subjected to UN standards, people shouldn't be trusted with the responsibility of owning a handgun for protection, you should pay for your neighbors health care, etc. He's Stalin in African American clothing. Bob Barr-- While I don't know much about him, I think the mere fact that he's running as a third party in a two party system will steal votes from real candidates. If Obama gets elected you can probably blame the third party voters that voted instead of voting for a candidate assured to get a majority vote. I'm not saying it's impossible, but highly improbable. When was the last time a third party candidate was elected President? Ron Paul--Same thing ^^. Ron Paul's great on the Constitution, but I feel that his foriegn policy is a bit naive. I do agree that one of the best ways to limit inflation is to limit the printing of paper money and even consider issuing some sort of inflation proof form of currency. Why not start producing real copper coins? or Silver $50 coins or something. McCain--Strong on the War in Iraq and the War on Terrorism. Pulling our troops out of Iraq before the job is done will just create a problem that we'll have to fix later. I completely disagree with the McCain/Feingold Campaign finance reform bill and think that it's a huge affront to 1st Amendment Rights, but unfortunately it's already been passed as law. While McCain is soft on some issues he's still strong on some key issues that I feel strongly about: Cutting spending/Gov't waste; War on Terror/National Defense; Border Security; and I think he'll hold a strong stand on the 2nd Amendment.

John McCain...but I'm not going to be all that happy about it.
I agree that in our present system, voting for a third party simply assures the Dems the vote. I don't think McCain is the best man for the job, but he is the one we have been presented and have to choose from considering the two party system.

Posted my vote - McCain is the choice for me - not my first choice among Repbulicans but he is the party's nominee.
Being from Illinois - I did not vote nor would I ever vote for Sen. Obama. Just take a look at what shep Illinois is in now and that should tell you all about the principals of the man.
