The authorities in Texas had no right to take the children. Now let the lawsuits begin. If you live in Texas be prepared to pay more taxes to pay for the mistake.

The Constitutional implications are staggering. More than likely the entire thing will be thrown out as an illegal search, and the lawyers will make a lot of money. The counter argument is that these people's rights would have been stomped if these lawyers didn't make a lot of money fixing it.

Considering it's already cost us over 10 million dollars we can only hope the court system drags this out for ten or so years so it can cost us a few billion more.

Why do we even have CPS ??
I have never heard of them doing anything right. It used to be simple. Before government caved to lobbyists ... Something was said .... and then an accident occurred that usually solved the problem. Now we have do good groups that kidnap people based on accusations. Judges sign crap so they don't get in trouble for not helping innocent children ... More BS!!! History can teach us a lot of things .... Like how the Judge/Sheriff might look the other way, or mastermind the accident that saves the community. I told my wife the night the story broke that if things weren't handled perfectly with all i's dotted and t's crossed that this was going to become a huge boondoggle. I think the boon has happened and now the doggle is next.
