Ted Kennedy Ordeal

So what does everyone think of this Ted Kennedy ordeal? He's the gun-grabber that we've been fighting all these years right? If so, anyone else hoping he'll step down/retire soon?

There is already a thread on this that isn't going to good. Very inflammatory. If this thread goes the same, it will get moved PV very quickly.

Yes, he is done. One way or the other, I would say that he will step down. If it were me, I would want to spend time with my family and enjoy my remaining time. Who knows. Ted is persistent. He may duke it out.

his days will be short..i would not wish what he has on anyone. He is a thorn in the country's side, but he is still a human being. He will not retire. Who will speak for Obama?

Well, I figured there was. But I didn't see it. I apologize.

I wasn't chastising you. I was warning you that it is a touchy subject. LOL!!!

I agree, but giving up that kind of power won't be easy for him.

I don't like the guy, never caught on to the whole Kennedy mystique myself. But having seen parents go thru strokes and cancer (seperately), I don't wish it on him, but I'm not going to shed a tear over it either. (he didn't cry for my mom!)

For me, I feel about as sorry for him as I do O.J. Not so much.

Rejoice not when your enemy falls. That's what the good book says. I'm happy that a man who has opposed the 2A rights of all Americans is leaving office, but I wouldn't wish his condition on anyone.

I don't wish him dead. But, I do wish that everything he stands for would die.
