Isn't this why McCain voted against the tax cuts, because cuts without spending curbs is ineffective?

Yes. If I give you a 25% raise it does not good if you spend 50% more
It is still a fact that Tax Cuts increase Revenue.
With More Cash in hand the people spend and Business invests.
Government does not create jobs.

When they so choose, yes they can. It's when thet try to get into the actual management of that atmosphere and growth that the wheels come off.
