I, personally, do not consider myself a racist. I subscribe to the theory that poop comes in all hues. Including and ESPECIALLY white. However, it is the people that think things are all peachy keen that crack me up. I am just wondering when this magic period of time was that I obviously missed, that race relations in the United States got so good. We can watch the media dog and pony show talking about how we have overcome race in this historical election. Really? That is not the talk I am hearing at the local pubs and restaurants, work, school, grocery store, friends, gun store, etc. It is not eight guys standing around their pickup truck in the trailer park, drinking Schlitz. It is a large chunk of people that will open up about how they really feel when they are in the right company of people. I was almost blown off a bar stool in a college bar the other night when a little blonde, college girl told me how she felt about Obama. I didn't even know her, but she spoke freely. Wow. And to think the media had me beleiving all the girls were voting for his suave looks and big ears. Bottom line, the country has been polarized for the past 8 years, and it is going to continue for at least another four. This time, the poles will shift, but it will be a mirror image of the past eight years. Anyone want to move on to talking about 2012?

Ugh...once more time for the slow people:
...many of us dislike Obama NOT because of the color of his skin, but because of his socialist leanings and his associations. Many of us still hold onto the silly old notion that your associations say alot about your character and that socialism is still bad for America and not what our founders ever intended. Why is it so hard for some to accept that MAYBE we don't like Obama because of SOME OTHER reason than because he is black and we are not? The left often asks us to look past race and Dr. King asked us to judge by the content of one's character, not by skin color. We're doing JUST THAT..and still the left sees: Obama hate = racism. Unbelieveable! Your theories on why we hate Obama just don't hold water. Otherwise...how do you explain that many of us despise Hillary and Bill yet they both are as white as we are? Why is it out of the realm of possiblilty that many may not like Obama because they do not like his views, policies or voting record? Why is that so hard to grasp? I thought WE...the red state gun clinging, God fearing narrow minded peoples were supposed to be the hard-headed ones. Sure does not look that way to me! - Brickboy240

i actually liked (seriously, a lot more than McCain) Obama when i first heard of him. I saw him as kind of a Joe Lieberman. Somone I did not agree with on a lot of things, but I thought was an honorable guy who I could respect. After I started learning about how socialist Mr. Obama is, and his long associations with people like Rev. Wright his utter and complete lack of any real experience, my opinions changed. Then it got to the point where I am now, I seriously, really hope Hillary somehow pulls this off. I never thought i would say that, but I would take her as a president over him any day of the week. Now i just have to keep my family from killing me when McCain loses because I voted for Bob Barr. . .

I heard two black women who called into a radio talk show argue over why one (the professional, military background, Democrat) won't vote for Obama based on the issues, agreed he's played the race card, appalled at his associations with Wright and Ayers, appalled at his policies of increased taxation, his weakness towards the military, his lack of experience with the economy, and a number of other issues compared to the black woman (sounded like the ebonics ghettofied) black folk who pretty much bought everything Obama has been saying hook line and sinker and said she didn't care about Wright and refused to agree that he's been playing the race card.
When black, professional democrats aren't voting for Obama or aren't going to vote for Obama after more and more has come out about him, he is in trouble. Both parties are a mess right now, but the Democratic party is worse shape as you have around 50% of each candidate's supporters saying they won't vote for the other Democratic nominee hopeful if the one their supporting isn't nominated. That smells like a disaster in the general election and for the entire party. I've heard of people taking bets on whether or not there will be violence at the convention in Denver if Hillary is nominated. |

The only reason i dislike Obama is because of how far left wing he is. I'd gladly take hillary over obama. I'd take McCain over Hillary. I think Obama may have some trouble, but if hillary's landslide is any indication, the left is in even more trouble. They are a party divided and tensions are running so high in this dem race that there are portions of each candidates core supporters willing to vote for a republican if the other dem gets elected! The dems are the real ones in trouble here...

IMO, the title is a lie.
U.S. Citizens in trouble as no worthy candidate has been chosen by the MSM driven machine of change that is not change. That's how I would express the issue.
