McCain to do a "Climate Change Tour" of America

Yeas & Nays - McCain planning climate change tour - Examiner.com

Quote:
Sen. John McCain really does want to tempt the Republican base. ...

We've gotten our hands on an advanced transcript of this weekend's "The Chris Matthews Show" on NBC and the British Broadcasting Corporation's Katty Kay offered this nugget during the show's "Tell Me Something I Don't Know" segment:
  • "John McCain is going to be doing more of these themed tours of America, and one of them is going to be on energy and global climate change. It could get him into trouble with Republicans, of course, and with the base, who don't think there is much climate change going on, but it is something that he's very passionate about and he's going to be talking about it."
um, last time i checked - the people who would put him into office don't care about the farce called global warming. We're more interested in a proper energy plan, security and taxes.

Thumbs down

I really hope he hasn't drunk the AGW/Global Cooling/Global Climate Change Kool-aid, and is instead only pandering, as politicians are wont to do.

he has. even bush caved in on it. All signs are pointing to the falsehood of GW, but it's now the PC thing to do like being against the war vote in 2004 was the thing to do.

I'm not surprised.
Press 1 for English, 2 for Spanish, and 3 for the latest BS about how My Friends are a dwindling number, and my voters want/need an ego boost of purple (heavy on the blue) kool-aid.

Goracle Profit Zombies ... It's not their fault.
Gore's nutty idea
Gore proposed last week that the United States "commit to producing 100 percent of our electricity from renewable energy and truly clean carbon-free sources within 10 years."

Not just all new electricity, mind you, which would be challenging enough. But all existing electricity, too.

Like it or not, if the core constituency stays away, they are inviting the Dem's to power. I don't believe that they are that dumb.

It's quite simple, really...
If you vote for Obama, you are a fu*king idiot.
If you vote for McCain, you are a fu*king idiot.
If your vote is for the lessor of two evils, then you can be comforted knowing that you're less of a fu*king idiot than the other guy!

Because Fritz says so!
