Mr. Begala, a Clinton supporter, said the party could not win in November with just “eggheads and African-Americans,” that the party could not ignore white middle-class voters.

Lol... so to be an obama supporter you have to either care only about the color of his skin or be an egghead.

Wow, that smacks of the Ferraro comment...does it not? Remember Geraldine Ferrero's comments about how Barack would not have gotten this far if he was not black?

Begalla is always making crazy and off base statements. Does anybody but the hardest lefty idealogue take that guy seriously? Remember his Times column right after the 2004 election on how red states were full of racist redneck gun toting simpletons?

Paul Begalla is a classic example of how the left is just as prejudiced and bigoted as they claim the right is....maybe moreso.

I love it...the party that has accused the GOP of being racist and sexist is swimming in their own accusations.

The claim to be tolerant and accepting. this campaign has shown anything but that.
