Klinton continues to run on skin color issues

Clinton makes case for wide appeal - USATODAY.com

Quote:
Hillary Rodham Clinton vowed Wednesday to continue her quest for the Democratic nomination, arguing she would be the stronger nominee because she appeals to a wider coalition of voters — including whites who have not supported Barack Obama in recent contests.
"I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on," she said in an interview with USA TODAY. As evidence, Clinton cited an Associated Press article "that found how Sen. Obama's support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in both states who had not completed college were supporting me."
"There's a pattern emerging here," she said.
Clinton's blunt remarks about race came a day after primaries in Indiana and North Carolina dealt symbolic and mathematical blows to her White House ambitions.

As much as I dislike Hillary, I don't have a real issue with what she said there. She's trying to convince delegates that she is the most electable candidate for the democratic party. I haven't dug up the stats to validate her assertion here, but I heard the same stats touted this morning on the news. Obama did significantly better than Hillary with blacks in NC and Indiana, and Hillary did better than Obama in the demographics that she cited.

I find both candidates to be repulsive in many ways. But in this case, I don't see an issue here.

Good. As long as she makes Obama's life misery, I am all good with it.

No kidding. All racism aside...take a look around you.

Now..who honestly thinks that any candidate can take the White House without the votes of white middle and upper class males?

Love us or hate us (and God knows...its fashionable to hate us these days) you're not going to win a major election like that by giving us the middle finger as Obama surely has.

I hate to say it, but Hillary is right on this one. Anyone that scoffs at this is merely avoiding the facts.

because she is a "clinton" she is NOT going to give up easily. she will have to be removed kicking and screaming....

that's why it's important for her to keep it up...it's just going to destroy the democrat party...which is a great thing for this country, our troops and our freedom...

...and by no means am i endorsing the GOP here...

To be honest, she is well within her right to be angry about MI and FL...no matter who is to blame for the voter nullification in those key states.

The media has made an issue of color, more so than any candidate, IMO.

It's quite simple, really...
If you vote for Obama, you are a fu*king idiot.
If you vote for McCain, you are a fu*king idiot.
If your vote is for the lessor of two evils, then you can be comforted knowing that you're less of a fu*king idiot than the other guy!

Because Fritz says so!
