XDC9.....I think you are having an (understandable) problem here. Sure OEFM appears to be zirconium....but only to the naked eye. Too perfect using a fluoroscope or whatever you are relying on to see what's inside that rough surface.....Even with X-Rays, MRI and CAT scans he looks like glass even to John Q. De Beers.

But trust me on this...you split him open, (make sure to have some good super glue to put him back together) and get yourself a quality loupe and you'll see right away that he's a flawless (Fl-If Clarity), D color Gem. And "fat" as in 12 carats (My guess is his rotund shape would lend itself to an ideal round cut). It's very hard to see since he's certainly "in the rough", but as Michelangelo said about his "David"...the perfection was always hidden away in the block of stone....just needed to be shed of the "rough" exterior.

Have I ever lied to you? OEFM is a gem. The real deal. You're gonna have to have some faith here and just trust me on this completely. "Blind Faith" comes to mind ("Can't find my way home" in particular...LOL).

No doubt I'll admit that yes, Fat Man certainly demands an acquired taste! LOL

Don't diss the gems - we don't have that many!

Peace,
D.

I feel the same way about those running for office. Who you worried about more? Me or them?

Meh, I tried the acquired taste thing with Martinis and cigars and didn't have too much success. I do however remain hopeful and a true optimist at heart, despite the massive amount of evidence to the contrary in this case.

And when Obama takes office I'm sure you'll come here and blame me for all his mistakes. Some people here are that stupid.

Dang, I can't believe I agree with Etta about something.

If I ever have the chance, I'll make you a martini you'll be certain to enjoy. The cigar deal? Had the same experience myself. Even with Cubans.

OEFM takes a little more effort and patience. What might help is imagine a really good guy, a guy you'd like in general, but he's in unimaginable discomfort.....like a late stage cancer patient. But in this case the pain he's feeling is as if he has knives stuck into his gut. Attacked by big business....knife in the belly. Attacked by big government....knife in his left kidney. Attacked by annoying children who think they know everything on an internet gun owners web-site....a knife in his groin. Plus bee stings all over from local government....his mayor is probably a piranha locked onto his big right toe. Local sheriff probably elected in a rigged election and is a rabid weasel chomping on one hand and his inbred nephew, the deputy sheriff chomping on the other.

So you should have a bit of empathy. Pain makes anyone crotchety. But underneath? Pure flawless diamond! I kid you not!

Of course I may be a bit biased.....OEFM is great-grandfather on my mother's side.

LOL

Peace,
D.

That was totally uncalled for. I am in no way related to that D guy. As for the rest of your post if not for the rather large mass grave site in my back yard I'm a perfectly normal guy.
