It's beautiful out here...

troops speak on being in afghan... They understand in ways many here don't. Guys like this give me some hope for the future of this country...

They who? It was an interview with one person. He was gung ho and I suspect others are too (they better be they don't have any choice really). It is in their best interest. Looked like a purty barren place to me. But then one mans beauty is another mans pig.

Actually there were two, a capt and staff sgt..

and it was on cspan, I serioously doubt they took the only two positive guys in the whole theater... if you'll look, you'll see re-enlistments are at all time highs. These guys believe in what they are doing, believe they are making a difference in the world and my hat is off to them.

Oh crap your right it was two guys. I did notice after looking at the video for the second time the captain wasn't wearing a tie. My wifes keeps telling me to wear my glasses. But I did apply for a helicopter repairman job in Huntsville last week. They made it look like it was a regular job. One army guy emailed me some gibberish and one called and very politely told me I was to f**king old.
