How do you define "middle class"? Seriously, as a mental/political exercise define what you think is middle class. Considering the question and the venue I think any candidate would would be hard pressed to say concretely "this is the middle class". Our tax system makes it so hard to define anything because it is so hard to figure out.

And your thoughts on continuing the status quo?

If your vote is for the lessor of two evils, then you can be comforted knowing that you're less of a fu*king idiot than the other guy!

I agree. That's not saying much.

At least you concede, even if you don't come out and say it, that the Democrats are as corrupt as the Republicans.

No... to paraphrase an old campaign slogan, "It's the math, stupid!"

If you use the approval rating of Congress as the baseline (20%), and Bush is at 28%, then he has a 40% greater approval rating than Congress. As mentioned previously, "There's lies, damned lies, and statistics!" (attributed to Mark Twain).

I can't think of any individual Democrats that are as corrupt as Tom DeLay and Duke Cunningham were. Then there was Mark Foley.

And, of course, the Democrats never claimed to be the party of small government, so I'm sure for the Republicans to have run amok like that, people were disgusted. Another validation that our government is just out of control.

And, you would think with such low approval ratings that a body that is supposed to represent the people would at least try.

It is not in a liberals capacity to see any other side but their own... I have asked her, and others, many questions to which I am ignored.

Ignorance is bliss....
