You seem to rush to his defense quite often. Or do you just feel the need to shoot down poor logic?

If you are an Obama supporter how do you rectify his vehement Anti-second amendment stance in relation to self defense with your own personal firearm ownership? One could hardly expect one to agree with EVERY point a favored politician makes, but the right to self defense through ownership and carry of firearms is largely one of the core beliefs of most firearms owners I've encountered (myself included).

I agree whole heartedly. My own basis for establishing an opinion on a person/politician is his/her belief in ones right to defend oneself and ones family against those meant to do harm. I have no patience for those who think different. It is my core belief.

Damn...is that where it came from? I'm impressed! First time I ever heard an expression I thought fairly described me! (Still, I can not bring myself to watch FOX"News"...-- I gave up on them way back when they were the "All Anthrax All The Time Network"....right around the same time I gave up all hope for Bush and his merry pranksters - coincidence? ).
