It's quite simple, really...
If you vote for Obama, you are a fu*king idiot.
If you vote for McCain, you are a fu*king idiot.
If your vote is for the lessor of two evils, then you can be comforted knowing that you're less of a fu*king idiot than the other guy!

Because Fritz says so!

Yes. Wouldn't take long.

Doubtful. They've got AWB II in a file somewhere ready to go. It easily falls under the definition of so-called "reasonable regulation". I'll have to go back and look at his bio but I seriously doubt that Obama was even in the Illinois state legislature, much less Washington when the democrats suffered the backfire over the AWB.
Those of us who are not complacent to the ideals of a government that will safegard your every desire.

Ya ever heard of a Million Gun March ??
Are you willing to join in to protect the second amendment from any who desire to reduce/remove/or write legislation ??? .... Or are you such a pessimist as to believe if Obama/Hillary/McCain win that your voice will be removed ???

I understand that. I was mainly arguing against the assertion that legislatively there will just be too much on the plate to address the lowly little issue of gun control. A democrat-controlled legislative and executive branch would find the time, of which not much would be required.

I am absolutely a proponent of action on "our" part to fight legislation such as that; I have done so during my relatively short time as a gun owner and will continue to do so. All I was saying was that I believe the idea that the Obama Administration will have too much to do to ban guns is ridiculous.

That's real easy to say, until using them to defend yourself, your home, or your family lands you in a federal penitentiary.

Enjoy your stay!
Yep, and thinking of doom and gloom helps
Be complacent to your government and the leaders you place in positions of power. It reminds me of Great Britian and Australia as the sweeping confiscation occurred.
The defeatist attitude of doom and gloom over who wins this election will only be superceeded by those who lay down their arms because some clown was allowed to pass falsly protective legislation.

They can't arrest the whole country!!

Me to!!!
Once he shoves his immigration plan through, the trashing of the desert will end ....... Screw him and his ideas! ..... Not on my watch!
Just like Obama is gonna take away your guns ..... And Hillary is gonna raise taxes for health care ...... They can only do what we as a nation allow them to do!!!

I have no fear of any candidate!
But I am scared to death by those who so easily assume the defeatist attitude of being able to do nothing because some a$$hat gets elected.

I can't wait for this election cycle to end. The frick'n sky is falling attitude is getting kind of ridiculous.

You have a sudden attack of ADD there AZXD?

Who is talking about G.W. Bush? I thought this thread was about Obama. After all his name is on the top. Don't sit here and play this game with me, this is not a perfect dichotomy. Just because I oppose Obama doesn't mean I support Bush.

I'm thinking that you misinterpreted ENTIRELY what I was saying.

I'm ADVOCATING political action. I'm saying we CAN'T be complacent because if we start voting anti-gunners into the white-house....we WILL be up **** creek without a paddle.

So they can't arrest a whole country eh? They don't have to, just the small subset who want to use arms in self-defense.

Stalinist Russia or Nazi Germany ring a bell?

I think you and I are on the same team, you're just too busy trying to bayonet me to figure it out.
