Can we win in Afghanistan if this occurs frequently?

The reason wasn't to just kill a few leaders of AQ.. it was to finally join in a war on terror, fighting back after their years of shooting at us.

It was never initiated as a war against the leadership only any more than WWII was just to kill hitler and hirohito (who lived for what 40 years after the war?)

Besides those of us who care are for the most part not able to effect a solution. Those who work the political arena, seem to care while disregarding this countries security at home.
