Do you think Iran is losing some key people in Iraq?
So do you think you could slam down a half a ham on the negotiating table and say we'll quite attacking your operatives and Qods forces when you (Iran) take a big nice healthy bite of this tasty little honey ham?
AFP: Iran demands halt to US attacks in Iraq Iran demands halt to US attacks in Iraq 20 hours ago TEHRAN (AFP) — A senior member of Iran's negotiating team with the United States on Iraqi security demanded a halt to US attacks in Iraq before any new round of talks with Washington, the Fars news agency reported on Saturday. "If US savage attacks against the Iraqi people are stopped, we will examine the US request for a fourth round of talks," the unnamed official said, quoted by Fars.

my guess is that they figured we'd have given up by now. A lot of the fighting in Iraq is a proxy war with Iran...its a big game of international chicken...

a friend of mine and me have a wager. 1 case of beer to him if the U.S. attacks Iran before GWB is out of office, and 1 case of beer to me if GWB leaves office without attacking Iran...
My personal feeling is that theres about a snowball's chance in hell of the U.S. attacking Iran unless they magically acquire a nuke, or blatantly attack the U.S. of one of our Allies (namely Israel).
