My past experience already has proven what a complete waste of time it would be to debate the relative "merits" of your non-reasoning, but consider this:

What would you say if some other nation had come here and subjected US citizens to this treatment... which is to say, like animals?

As far as what I would say IF they came, again, they have come - they came on 9/11 and I watched US citizens having to jump to their deaths because of the hatred these ANIMALS have for us and our way of life.

Etta, not that I would ever doubt your sources, but here's two other articles on and by the same guy - neither bring up these points... I gotta call B.S. on the fixing trials crap and those being accurate quotes. They've not been repeated again in any article, even by the one he wrote two mos ago for the NYT. Apparently the pressure was to speed up the trials... which he sees as unfair - a wholly different thing. And he is a big critic of waterboarding (no wonder he went into the Air Force, and damn glad he never joined a fraternity.)
