November will be the lesser of 2 evils. If i voted on one issue it would be the war on terror and issue 2 would be 2nd amendment. I know where all 3 stand on it all, and frankly i prefer mccain on it.

I voted for Bush twice and i don't regret it. Granted, he was is not perfect and in some areas i am at odds with him, but he's clearly the better alternative.

If the democrats get the surrender they want in Iraq, the SWHTF.

I think in 30 years, history will judge him well.

My views on the man are not swayed by people or the media. i think at it as a whole....the good, the bad and the ugly.

Sounds good and all, but if things don't change at home ... We're gonna be playing a game called SHTF right here.

Clearly this group has shown an inability to manage two countries at the same time. I guess that's why everything in Iraq is in slow motion (They do have two governments working on their problems, afterall) and the stuff at home is seemingly spinning backwards

i am not thrilled with the progress there, but our military has has its hands tied since it got there. Politicians should not run wars, esp. spineless ones.

fighting our enemies?

you mean the ones the ol' President isn't concerned with?

this article begs the question, imo -

Why, if its so effective having them there, was this guy (and apparently several others) ever released?

the article acknowledges they didnt get federal trials, meaning only the military or high-level justice department officials let them loose...

...not 'ignorant little civillians' who just want us 'to lose the war' and 'coddle al qaeda' at the same time, administration officials and military bureaucrats/officers.

so again, why were they released?

It's probably some reason we won't understand

Actually you are incorrect. A POWs has rights. Enemy combatants do not.

To be a POW you must wear a uniform and serve in a organized military.

Terrorists do neither. So they can NEVER be a POW.
