Yes, I hear what your saying but you have to understand that for many religions (Christianity especially) there is an exclusivity.

I wouldn't describe all other religions as evil, but they're all false religions.

You never cease to amaze me with your comments Etta. Divide the world? I don't agree that Christians are trying to divide the world. However I do believe that Islamists ARE trying to destroy it as we know it....

Spend any time in the Middle east, and you will learn differnetly. Bahrain, UAE, Oman, Saudi, and others I have seen first hand that the Muslims in those countries support the Terroists, like Al-Q, Hamas and Hezbolha....
Many Irish-Americans donated money to the IRA.

Some Muslims may support the terrorists because they hate the U.S. occupation of Iraq, general meddling in Middle East affairs by the U.S., and the treatment of the Palestinians by Israel.

I don't believe that. I grew up in an exclusive religion (Catholicism), but I have learned over the years that all religions teach a path to God. Not every good person is a Catholic.

Is it really wrong to say that you hate radical Islam? A religion that routinely manipulates people to blow themselves up in the name of Jihad to kill civilians.

Wouldn't you say that you hate certain types of religion as well?
I do hate ignorance and radical religious beliefs that would make people feel justified in committing violence.

I also hate the ignorance (or whatever it is!) that would cause religious adherents to have sex with underage children and impregnate them.

Etta, we were not in Iraq or Afghanistan when 9-11 took place. They hate who we are, not what we're doing regarding foreign policy.

There's no explaining to her and a few others on this board.

She justifies what they did b/c we support Israel and had some AF planes in Saudi Arabia...

Some just will not learn or understand. To them, America is the Great Satan.

But is none-the-less, thankfully, a minority.
