One's lifestyle (especially children) dosen't bother me, it's when they demand or expect to be given the same as another. I've always been of the oppinion that military are underpaid as it is. I'm not in favor of big social programs to exclusively benefit the military. And, why should the military have such a prominent place in our society anyway? This is a democratic republic not a fascist military dictatorship.

What I ment was take the funds from the social programs and use it to raise thier pay, increase thier benifits, make thier life a little more comfortable. Not set up another social program. I am not a social program proponet except to take care of people with disabilities and just don't have the means to take care of them selves. I don't like things like welfare but it can help some get thier leg up. It shouldn't be handed out like candy and I think it should have manditory drug screening. And absolutley no one who is an illegal can touch it.

Don't have a good guess myself as to the percentage Frenchy. What would yours be? Don't forget, my arguments come from the following:
