I find that odd that you would say you don't read it. I never looked at it until I saw you and Frenchy talking about it a couple of months ago. But I digress.
To your question. Let's see:
1. Pouting
2. Refuting any source that you don't care for as untrustworthy
3. Name calling
4. Changing the subject when the discussion is not going your way (Gravity as a theory, for example. Good god Etta!)
Read it and see if a poster called "Zanne" has arguments that you might recognize. It's entertaining stuff.

Did you know that Steven Spielberg believes in life in other parts of the universe?
I think Steven Speilberg might be right, but on the other hand I think Whitley Strieber is a crackpot. Hell, I was in Roswell for the 50th Anniversary of the Roswell incident with all my flying saucer loving friends. I met Stanton Friedman and got a signed copy of his book. I told him to his face I thought it was all a farce, but I wanted to have a copy of his book anyway. I think there may well be life on Europa. I think there may well have been life in the past on Mars. None of it intelligent life, but life nonetheless.

Anyone die from abnormally high C02 in the air yet?
Frank
It's a good thing you have all the answers. That really annoying guy that calls the sports radio stations to tell them how to get the 'Sixers back on track, are you that guy too?
Don't ask us. Why don't you take the time to tell us why we are wrong. I for one am certain that we will be better off if you would just bless us with your wisdom instead of making us look like fools.

Etta said that we are putting things into the air that are killing us, so I asked who has been killed.
It is a pretty simple question, really.
I don't have all the answers. That is why I was asking Etta for one.

Let's just say that the state of our environment (air quality) can't be doing us as a species, alot of good.

Yes, I saw that cover. I am offended by it. It is very distastefull to compair the Heros from Iwo Jima to Global warming.
There is a post on this in the Political view section of the forum, and all they talk about is the golobal warming, no one even acknowledged my post about the poor taste or disrespct shown to the marines.

I am still in surprize not one person has made a comment on my post about the cover, trying to compair this global warming, which ever side your on to Iwo Jima.
I guess I am the only veteran who takes offence to that. I think it is extremly insulting to our US Marines, and those who fought for our way of life and country.

Like I said earlier, there are some air quality problems and there are water quality problems that we outta do something about. We are causing those due in many cases to carelessness or even perhaps apathy. To equate those issue to large scale global climate change caused by human activity is in my opinon shortsited and emotionally motivated. I provided a link to a new source of data in one of my earlier posts that has just been made available in the few months and is only now being analyzed. It has only been recently that a method to monitor global surface tempertures has been implemented. Unlike previous global tempature monitoring that used primarly land based readings, they are now able to take oceanic readings over a much larger area.
What I am getting at is, its bad science for those researchers that continue to preach thier gospel of human caused climate change if they are unwilling to continually update thier models with any new data that becomes available. As far as I am concerned on this issue anyone still using models based exclusively on data thats more than 6 months to a year old are only trying to advance an agenda.
Soooo....
Are the air and water quality from that we should address and have the ability to repair. Yes, lets get busy.
Is there a condition of global climate change that can not be explained by other natural processes and is indeed without question caused by humans? Probably not, but there is too much data that is new and yet to come to make any conclusion at this point. Human induced climate change should stop being preached as a gospel as it has been the last several years.
