Misleading radio advertisement in NC- Obama related

"Since most "young" voters identify with Obama, the Campaign for Obama encourages you to vote for Obama in the Democratic primary in NC".

Its not exact, but I heard it on the way home from work today.

Two things here:
1. Most every young person I know thinks Obama is a complete idiot.

2. Most every young person I know is disenfranchised with BOTH parties.

First off, I dont have to reiterate the point here that Obama is nothing but a closet socialist. Second off, I consider myself to be a conservative, and most the other "young" voters I know are conservatives. Im not sure where exactly the Obama campaign is finding their statistics, but I can only refer to the phrase: "There are lies, damn lies and statistics".

Of all the people here in NC that I know that are <30, most refuse to vote for Obama, and likewise, McCain.

Id like to see some decent discussion on this. I think its warranted given our "choices", and I do use the phrase loosely. For those that dont know, I think the NC primaries are coming up in May.

Living in a state that is greatly affected by illegal immigration skews my viewpoint, and I will readily admit that. Having said that, it will be a cold day in hell before I will cast a vote for McCain. You can call me a liberal democrat all you want, but it wont make any difference to me. Illegal immigration has a direct impact on my state, and I refuse to vote for someone who will support that.

I just can't wait till this election is over. I myself am a conservative and a moderate on somethings (if there is a difference). I was old enough to vote in the last election and am happy with my decision but the choices we have this time are just awful. Most of the people I work with are not even planning on voting this year. I just wished we could see into the future and give every person that is on the ticket a chance or just look at the news headlines. Also I live in Georgia and our illegal immigration problem keeps getting worse. wish we could start over again in 1776.

Ha, just heard another one!

"Obama is most popular among young voters, young voters who are eager for change"

Well, hes not popular with this young voter, and Id like a change. Id prefer that change not be towards socialism.

Those of us that are not "fond" of illegal immigration have no hope for a presidential candidate. We have to fight it in the future the same as we have been with the current president that is also an open border advocate. How 'bout that North American Union?
