i'm just saying that the accusation was levied, and the accuser is generally believed to be credible. I'm obviously not going to call bill clinton a rapist since it was never tried and he was never convicted...but thats where the "unconvicted rapist" comment stems from..

Hey, I think we have at least a thousand unindicted co-conspirators right here on XDTalk. Lord knows how many "unconvicted anythings".

The political name calling is beyond belief. Someone says that Obama is like Hitler. He then tells us that the comparison is valid because they are/were both effective orators. Yet is there any way this same person would say that Reagan and Hitler could be compared for the very same reason?

People say idiotic things and then dig their heels in rather than back off. All in the name of divisive politics.

It's enough to make the most staunch Republican want to be disassociated with the GOP rather than be thought of as aligned with the thinking of (for example) Rush Limbaugh. Or to make the most staunch Democrat....wait.....can a Democrat be "staunch"?....Try again..the most "devout"....no, that doesn't work either....the most Die hard? ...OK...the most "die hard" Democrat want to hide his or her head in shame rather than be associated with the rantings of a Michael Moore.

It isn't the politicians but the cheerleaders who seem the most rabid. Hillary Clinton is widely admired by her peers in the Senate....Republican senators and Democrat senators alike regard her as a hard working and dedicated representative of her constituents. No one in government calls her "Hitlery", no one calls Obama "Osama".

The Republicans don't seem to get such colorful labels. Bush is called a "shrub"? Wow....Cheney is "Darth Cheney"? Again...wow!

Whatever....it's sad that Americans can be so effectively alienated in their political beliefs by loudmouthed entertainers....these people get highly paid to lie and distort. People are really dumb enough to take them seriously? I wonder how many people base their religious beliefs on Monty Python's "Search for the Holy Grail"? (nothing could surprise me anymore).

I'll not even bother to address the issue of context. You have enough "fame" and have posted way more than enough in sheer volume of posts for others to make up their own minds as to whether you think it's just an inconvenient bother to waste time with "context"...

Or even with truth......as even "Judge" himself has said...if you repeat a lie enough times it becomes "true" to some people...... If saying a thousand times that "Delija said it is IMPOSSIBLE" when in fact I said "It seems impossible to me"....has at least convinced ONE PERSON (and obviously it seems to have convinced you, so there ya go)....then what "Judge" and others have said about the "big lie" has been proved to be true!!

You must have defended your comparison a dozen times or so in one thread alone on your ridiculous comparison of Obama to Hitler. You could easily have just said "OK, bad comparison" and NO ONE would have thought less of you. Except possibly you yourself. So you went on and on and told people who understood what.....

Your big 'defense" was that the comparison was "valid" because both Obama and Hitler were/are strong orators.

It begs the question.......would you compare Ronald Reagan to Hitler because Reagan too was a Top Gun orator? The "Great Communicator"?

I guess you'd have to, right? MORE SO in your case since you have no "internal bias" - we all know that you are above such faults...you are always "fair and balanced" and not influenced by anything as silly as a "bias"..."Just the facts Ma'am!" -(Joe Friday, another great detective).

Name a three year period between Regan and today where gas prices have TRIPLED, egg prices have tripled, and everything I buy in the grocery store has doubled, had the size cut in half or some mixture of both. Example, Gas was $1.19 a gallon here 3 years ago, today it's $3.59, eggs were 59 cents a dozen now they are 2.29 techinically those are more than x3, but whatever... things are going great... open your eyes people.

Effectively there has been a 50% cut in pay in three years due to inflation.

I could give a crap about employment rates when the employment sucks anyway. get over it bush bots, things sucked under clinton and have only gotten worse since bush took office. Admitting bush is a total and completely failure doesn't mean clinton was any better.

I never said "they were/are strong orators". In fact, I never even said the word "orator".

Please read my posts before commenting on them or asking questions.

Since this is a completely different thread AND you misquoted me, I don't see why it is worth it to respond.

Please go back and quote what I actually said and then readdress your question.

Uh Frank ... with the exception of Judge and maybe another member or two nobody knows what you're talking about.

Based on what I have read of your posts I can ascertain the following: you are an unabashed Bush administration apologist. You say you have plenty that you have disagreed with the administration about but anytime anyone says anything that calls into question the administration or their tactics you are there in a nanosecond to defend the administration.

So while I can comprehend what you write for the life of me I have absolutely no idea why or what your point is the vast majority of the time. As always other members .... YMMV.

Actually, that is false. I have only been defending the administration lately regarding one issue, which is the accusation that Bush and Cheney lied to get us into Iraq. That's all I remember defending them about lately.

I have disagreed with the Bush adminstration regarding spending, immigration, Iraq, healthcare..etc...etc..

For you to label me as an "unabashed bush administration apologist" because I have said that I don't think he lied about Iraq is shortsighted at best.

As I said, I can only remember defending them regarding Iraq and the accusation by some on this forum that Bush and Cheney lied. Even when I was talking about that I was simply saying that there is no proof that he lied.

Do us all a favor and please educate yourself before you make insights into other forum members.
