Anyone catch the Nightline segment last night about the BC (Biblically Correct) Museum tours? Seems these two creationist guys do tours for grade school kids to try and refute the theory of evolution. It was a sad sight to see as they spent less time providing an alternative perspective and more time getting kids to repeat what the tour guides were saying. When pressed on the fossil record being developed from many layers of sediment over the eons they stumbled, farted, and fell around themselves trying to explain it away. Also, after the the Noah's Ark flood men lived about 800 years and so there has only been a few generations of men since. They never did answer why men only live about 70-80 years now. One kid interviewed said that there was no way the earth could be millions of years old "because look at all the damage it has sustained already ...."

The religious Right in America is nearly as back asswards in thought as is the Taliban. The Religious Right need only put their women in Burkhas.
