What has George Bush done wrong?

In my relatively short time here I've noticed that there are a lot of people that really hate George W Bush and feel he is the worst POTUS we've had in a very long time. I would like to know specific reasons why. Not things like "He destroyed the economy" or "He led us to way". I want specifics like "He supported and signed xxxxx legislation to do xxxxxxxx". Anybody got anything, or does everyone just hate because the media tells them to?

Sure, why not:
Patriot Act
Military Comissions Act of 2006
Suspension of Habeas Corpus
Total disregard to the Fourth Amendment
Would support another AWB
"Economic Stimulus" checks
Open Borders

That should be enough to get you started.

I didn't care for the amount of spending devoted to the Medicare Part D program.

Also, Part D insurance companies can't bargain with the drug companies the way that my insurance company can. This adds a great deal to the cost. Bush found a way to make his friends rich while leaving old people to pay higher prices. Higher prices mean that old people end up in the so called "donut hole" much quicker and then must pay for their drugs out of pockets. Thanks George!

In addition to the above, his use of "Signing Statements" to exempt himself and the office from legislation he passes makes me pretty sick. His expansion of the Executive Powers are among the most grievous in history.

Oh, add Warrantless Surveillance to the list (part of the Patriot Act, I know, but that one in particular deserves special mention).

FBI National Security letters being utilized over 4x as much as they were before 2000.

1.5 Billion dollar loans to Mexico to secure their Southern Borders while ignoring the torrent pouring over ours from this same debtor.

OK, where's the BP medication........

All these replies and I'll be gone all weekend. Hopefully this won't be too big to meaningfully discuss when I get back.
