What we knew all along...Democrats are closet bigots
There is nothing that the Democratic operatives love more than to paint the Republicans or convervatives in general as narrow minded bigots or racists. Its on page one of their playbook (right next to fighting for the poor and tax cuts for the rich).
Anyone catch former Preidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro's comments on Barack Obama? Ferraro 'absolutely not' apologetic on Obama remarks - Los Angeles Times Now...after listening to what she said...how can that NOT be construed as anything else but a racist comment? Basically, she said that Obama would not be where he is right now, if he was not black. Black Americans should be angry at what she said. Its as bad as anything David Duke could have ever said about minorities. I am surprised that Obama is not more offended by the comment (maybe he is and its not showing..yet). I am not usually one to cry "racism" and hate it when some do for no reason, but this kind of comment is extremely offensive and smacks of the worst sort of bigotry we see in our country today. I also point this out, because the Democratic party exhalts themselves as the champions of black America, but have proven again that they are closet bigots. - Brickboy240

This rabid, mindless partisanship is really tiring.

Why don't you engage brickboy in a point for point debate instead of throwing out comments like that?
If you disagree....tell us why! I for one would love to hear it! Frank

Like you ran to defend "Judges" JOKE about mass murder, I'll comment (defend?) Etta here because it's so damn easy and you really need to be put in your tiny little place this time. Here's the deal.....she said EVERYTHING THAT NEEDED TO BE SAID!!!!!! How can anyone possibly want to be bothered with trying to defend pure common sense? I am personally shocked that Brickboy, who I generally admire, brought up this kind of muck. Obviously so was Etta. ONLY YOU could want to make an issue out of what is CLEARLY a non-issue. People say "politically incorrect" things and it's the big news? Ferraro is a racist? LOL..... Let me ask you this. Everyone knows what her exact words were. How would you compare them to James Baker's words ....you know the guy I mean....You would have to....he was your idol's (Reagan's) Chief of Staff, and Bush Senior's Secretary of State. And he headed up the first presidential campaign for GWB....so I'd go out on a limb and figure this is a guy you admire, respect, blah, blah, blah. So what if he said "F#CK THE JEWS, THEY DON'T VOTE FOR US ANYWAY"? Pretty cool huh? No bigotry there. People do and say stupid things regardless of their politics. This is the champion all time most ridiculous thread on XDTalk (Sorry Brickboy, call 'em as I see 'em - "closet bigots" LOL). Peace, D.

Its not partisanship..not at all. I am not a Republican so how can that be?
All we hear from liberals is how they're so open minded and not bigoted and then their minions say such outrageous statements as this and this proves they're as bigoted as the right...maybe moreso. If Newt Gingrich or Rush Limbaugh said "the only reason Barack has gotten this far is because he is black" you'de be calling for their heads and saying "see...I told you so...the right is nothing but a bunch of bigots." Does it matter what side said that statement? Its outrageous and demeaning no matter what pundit it came from but when it comes from a party member that claimed to be the champion of the minorities...you bet...I am calling them on it. Hey, its no secret that I don't like Obama based on his views but theres no denying that the guy works hard and came out of nowhere and that his winnings are an amazing thing. For emebers of his own party to say such an outrageous thing and demean the man's accomplishment in this race is really sad. Attack the guy on the merit of his ideas...dont' aim for the kneecaps with a comment like that. Come on now. Like Michelle Obama...Ferarro needs to think before blurting something out that might get used against them. She may be a has-been in the DNC machinery but her comments brought her straight to the head of the news...probably not in a manner she was hoping for either. They're all coming unglued because this was not the cakewalk for Hillary that they all thought it would be. Along comes somebody with more charisma and appeal...stealing the show... and suddenly Hillary is not going to be able to slide right into this office as she did the NY Senate seat. She is going to have to WORK for it and she and her supporters just don't like it and are coming unglued. From the first "cry-fest" in NH to these types of outrageous comments from her suporters, I knew Hillary and her minions would come unglued if Barack started making a good showing. They cannot win because their candidate has little appeal and has never had to fight for her slot in the political world. There is not a dimes worth of difference in the platforms of Hillary and Obama. Its neo-socialism either way and pretty damned similar in scope, if you ask me. So its not as if one Dem candidate has drastically different ideas than the other...Barack is cleaning her clock because he has more appeal. Thats it. Barack also WANTS the office. He is not going to bow down at the last minute and become the VP candidate or hand it all over to Hillary, just because the DNC biggies and the Clintons wish so....and htis just irritates the DNC biggies to no end. I actualy love this...these people ar doing to themselves and their own party, what they have done in the past to Republicans and other conservatives. Watching these lefties expose themselves for whom they really are and imploding is actually big fun! You'd think that after losing Gore to Bush in 2000 and then putting Kerry up there against what should have been a very defeatable Bush in 2004, these guys would learn a thing or two. But noooo...they have screwed up Michigan and Florida (again with Florida!) and their insiders are making all sorts of outrageous statements because their annointed one is not winning. These people are simply not as smart as they think they are. - Brickboy240

Folks, I'm sorry that Delija's obsession with me is probably going to result in the hijacking and disruption of this thread. I apologize in advance. Thanks, Frank

I am not a fan of James Baker, either. The reasons are many.
99% of Bush 41's staff give me the creeps and are partially to blame for the mess we're in right now as well as the anger that led up to the 9-11 attack...but that is another thread. - Brickboy240
