Jake: [fakes accent] How much for the little girl? How much for the women?
Father: What?
Jake: Your women. I want to buy your women. The little girl, your daughters... sell them to me. Sell me your children.

Whats amazing is that this was not the first thing he thought of doing himself. The guy really had to think about it..and see if he COULD...somehow...stay in office after this bombshell. Even New York is not liberal enough to put up with a governor that is that tawdry...are they?

Amazing. He and Bill Clinton are definately cut from the same cloth...are they not?

And whats up with his wife, standing right beside him at the press conference? Does that look awful or what? Now, all the late night talk shows are poking fun at HER too. Sad for her, really..heres your hubby who got caught playing around with whores and now YOU TOO are going to be poked fun at during a miserable time in your life. Who told her to stand next to that bastard like that? Where is the sense of shame in these people?

If I was her...if I got that close to him again...it would be to slit his friggin throat!

Go away Spitzers...just go away...please.

I can't wait for liberls to start applying the infamous Bill Clinton argument "what does it matter what he does in his personal life" to this ordeal.

My issue is with the lack of reporting that he's a Democrat. That's not even the biggest issue I have. This guy was getting his whores from an organized crime ring. WTF!@#!??? How many favors does he owe to people in organized crime because they had information on him and his whoring? What has he done or not done because he has to keep those people quiet?

From what I understand he was a real slimeball prosecutor too.

Actually, I have heard ABC and CBS (see-BS) news both refer to Sptizer as the Democratic gov. of NY. Fox News did it as well.

I think that most already know Spitzer is a Democrat - he has been a fairly high profile person for a long time.

Apparently they have been inconsistent (see quote below). Did any of the networks fail to mention that Larry Craig is a Republican?

"In lead stories Monday night about New York Governor Eliot Spitzer being linked to a prostitution ring, neither ABC's World News nor the NBC Nightly News verbally identified Spitzer's political party. Must mean he's a liberal Democrat -- and he is. CBS anchor Katie Couric, however, managed to squeeze in a mention of his party. On ABC, the only hints as to Spitzer's party were a few seconds of video of Spitzer beside Hillary Clinton as they walked down some steps and a (D) on screen by Spitzer's name over part of one soundbite. NBC didn't even do that. While ABC and NBC failed to cite Spitzer's political affiliation in the four minutes or so each network dedicated to the revelations, both managed to find time to applaud his reputation and effectiveness as the Empire State's Attorney General before becoming Governor" -- Brent Baker of the conservative Media Research Institute.

You want to know why they make a big deal out of Republicans getting caught with their pants down? Because the Republican Party has chosen to adopt a propaganda technique that they are virtuous, moralistic citizens and the Democrats are not. The Democrats have never made that claim.
