He slacked off a bit for a while...got his average post per day down to the 19s, but now he's back over 20...so YAY OFFICER RIZZO!

Dizzy Rizzy has been hounding me for a while to address my beefs with him in the proper thread or threads (can't keep track, since almost all threads in the political forum are either started by or starring him).

I called him a liar for using a quote of mine and attributing it to "appeasement to communist aggression in the 1980s"....he had it in his signature for God knows how long. And what did I actually say? That I saw no reason to have my tax dollars spent fighting communism in TODAY'S MYANMAR.....a very scary and dangerous communist threat to us all....LOL. Rizzo, do you even know where Myanmar is (of course you do....you'll look it up and cut and past 2000 years of Burmese history to show us you do).

I mentioned I had an acquaintance at NOAA, and he comes back with telling us how I said I had a "friend" at NOAA (maybe Ratzo doesn't know the difference...probably doesn't know what a "friend" is).

I made an allusion to another 'Frank Rizzo" and he was offended. I apologized umpteen times, but it was never enough. (Now I know it was actually an insult to the other Frank Rizzo).

The all knowing Rizzo thought when I quoted very famous lyrics to a Who song that I "wrote a poem". What planet is this guy from?

He's twisted my words so many times I can't remember a fraction of them. I'm sure as soon as I hit the "submit" button, another few dozen will come to me. But it doesn't matter. Global warming is a myth because of who says it is. Fox News is "fair and balanced' because it is a 24/7 commercial for the failed Bush administration.

Now he has another quote of mine in his signature. Yet he insists I'm "stalking" him. This is the guy that taunts both myself and even more so, BD, to enter every conversation.

Well, Ratzo, I don't know if a new thread satisfies your needs, but here it is. Since no matter where else I express myself, Officer Ratzo says it's the wrong thread.

You presume to know what my politics are. While it's true that anyone to the left of Attila the Hun is a "liberal" in your book, calling me a "liberal" is a joke. If you were to read the article about me in Forbes Magazine you might think differently.

As for now, I'll just refrain from posting here and remember the good old days when the political forum didn't have and didn't need moderation.

Maybe things will get better, but I doubt it. This used to be a unique gun owner's forum where thoughts and opinions were shared. Where disagreement was civil. Now it's all about agree or be ridiculed. And really, that's my beef. I often write a dissenting opinion just to keep things interesting. Anyone can preach to the choir. But now there is far too much mean-spiritedness here. Just as I see in other gun forums. How much longer until this morphs into a white supremacist website?

Rizzo, you can take my quote out of your signature now, because very soon no one will know who "Delija" was.

now I don't claim to be a rocket scientist, and I'm sure not a rhodes scholar. But I learned long ago that if someone keeps harassing me, just ignore them. If Frank is calling you out every time he posts, begging you to join each conversation so he can jump all over you... the simple answer is... DON'T.

If you add fuel to a fire, it will keep on burning. Simple solution, remove the fuel from the fire.. don't respond back to Frank.

And Frank, you do this quite a bit to be honest. There's really no need to call on all your "enemies" every time you post your opinion, and want to be challenged by them. There's not much need for that here. If you have something to say, say it. Whoever feels like responding, will respond. There's no need to constantly say "where's bd, delija, etc??? where are they? liberals.. I notice they are keeping their mouth shut on this" blah blah blah.

If a person wants to challenge anothers opinion, do so in a grown up way. Politics should not be debated in a childish way, it serves no purpose. if bd or delija don't want to comment on something you, or anyone else said that differs from a liberal view on things... maybe they don't want to? maybe they think yours, or anyone elses opinion is right and they have nothing they can say that can prove otherwise. Perhaps.... I know it's hard to believe... but maybe they just don't care?

This is the exact reason the political forum got taken away before, because of stupid crap like this. Just debate politics in a mature way, agree to disagree if you can't meet in the middle on things. there's no need to constantly go back and forth like this, calling poeple out.

I haven't been calling anyone out recently. This all started when delija and I were aruging in a thread. He then carried the arguement over into 2 other threads. I asked him to please continue our discussion in the original thread. He refused and continued to hijack the 2 threads in question. XDinNC can attest to this.

jednp--perhaps you should read what I post more. You appear to have no idea about what is going on.

Please give me 5 examples in the last month where I have said, "where is bd on this" or "where is delija on this". Certainly, examples would be easy to find, sicne you claim that I "do this quite a bit". Most of my posts DO NOT contain that. Many of my posts simply try to apply the same standards to the liberals that they try to apply to me and other conservatives on this forum.

I don't personally attack people and delija does. It is as simple as that.

I have debated delija in a fair and logical manner. He simply does not like my opinions and he reverts to personal attacks and starting threads to bash people when the debates don't go his way.
